Important - If you cannot find a code set that works for your device then please google search: "brands that use the same ir remote codes as [your brand here]". Then you can do some forum searching for other brands that may have the code set you are actually looking for. For instance (Vizio and LG) use same code sets often and so does (Insignia and Admiral).

Important - If you have a cable box or satellite box then please find the codes for the manufacturer if the codes under the service providers name do not work. Your cable box is most likely made by a different company than who you get your cable or satellite service from. The service providers place their service on boxes made by a different companies. Usually, the bottom or back of the box will tell you the manufacturer of the box. You can also find the manufacturer of the box by searching the box model number online. You want to use the codes for the box manufacturer.

If you have saved a remote then the widget will use your last used remote that is saved. So when you click on one of your saved remotes the widget will be linked to those buttons. You must have a custom saved remote and have clicked on that remote at least once for the widget to work or that remote. 

Remember: This app was developed by one person :) IR Universal Remote was not developed by a team or company (not even two people). I get a lot of emails that say "you guys".. but really it's just me :)

This application was developed for Samsung devices that have an IR Blaster sensor. Galaxy S3 is NOT supported. The GS3 does not have an IR Blaster.. IR Remote was initially built for the Samsung Galaxy S4. Currently Samsung Galaxy devices that have built in IR Blaster sensors are supported. If your phone (or Tablet) has an IR blaster and you would like to try this application on your device then feel free. Search on google first to see if your device has an IR Blaster sensor before trying. Please do not leave spam comments if your device does not have an IR Blaster sensor.
